One of San Francisco’s most diverse public schools

Centrally located in the Western Addition, one block from Japantown and one block from the historic Fillmore Jazz District, Rosa Parks is one of the most diverse schools in the district.

Our school community welcomes students and families of all backgrounds. We have been recognized as one of the most diverse schools in SFUSD.

Recently our school was awarded an Innovation Award to recognize our community’s climate, culture, and celebration of our diversity.

Programs

We offer two mainstream programs for K-5- the Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Mathematics (General Ed- STEAM) and the Japanese Bilingual Bicultural Program (JBBP)- along with a Special Education Day Class and a Pre-K Program at our on-site Raphael Weil School.

Enrichment

Our students’ education is supported by numerous activities and classes that go beyond the classroom.
