Drop Off Options

  • Walking: All are welcome on foot! Join the many families that live nearby and walk to school every morning. We are extremely proud of the strong local community that we have at school, and we love how many families walk together to school.

  • Biking: There is a strong family biking community at Rosa Parks, many students ride with their parents or on a family bike to school. We have a cohort that organizes and participates in Roll to School day in the spring with a Bike Bus. Lock your bike at the rack out front, or near the Lower Yard.

  • Car: For those that come to school by car:

    • Turn off of Webster onto Ellis and you’ll see the Stop Drop N Go helper at the end of the short block.

    • You’ll be directed to pull into the white zone where helpers will assist getting children, backpacks, and lunches unloaded from cars and safely to the Lower Yard.

    • Please do not leave your car in the white zone.

    • If you want to walk your child on to the yard, please park your car in a legal parking spot.

    • Please do not double park, do not block neighbors driveways, and do not leave your car in the drop off zone or in the staff parking lot.

    • Thank you for keeping everyone safe!

  • See the school-wide website for more info on drop off: https://www.sfusd.edu/school/rosa-parks-elementary-school/our-school/morning-drop
